I think the issue with PSLs is even if the hoi polloi would not normally go to every home game, sporting events are becoming more of an elite pastime. The gap between the NFL billionaire owners and millionaire players and the regular Joe fans keeps increasing. And the NFL only seems to act when there is a PR crisis that makes the NFL look like a cabal of clueless plutocrats.
