The Ravens are coming to Buffalo, and I have some questions

The Buffalo Bills are coming off their bye week at 5-1, and waiting for them is a Baltimore Ravens team that I really don’t know what to make of.

Baltimore started 4-1. They’ve now lost two straight, including a 35-13 ass-kicking at home against Cincinnati in which the Ravens actually led 13-0 at halftime. They then proceeded to get outscored 35-0 in the second half.

That’s pretty damn impressive, and not in a good way.

But this is still Baltimore. They have Derrick Henry, Zay Flowers, a defense that can create pressure, and a two-time MVP quarterback in Lamar Jackson who may or may not be healthy enough to play.

And let’s not forget, for all the online bullshit surrounding Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen, both quarterbacks are capable of making a perfectly reasonable defensive game plan look completely useless.

The Ravens are also adjusting to life under new head coach Jesse Minter. John Harbaugh is gone, and when you consider the expectations surrounding this franchise, I’m sure nobody in Baltimore envisioned sitting at 4-3 with consecutive losses heading into November.

Meanwhile, Buffalo has won five of its first six games, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t things worth questioning. The defense has had its issues, turnovers have been a problem, and at times it feels like Josh Allen and James Cook are being asked to carry an awful lot of this team.

So what exactly are the Bills getting Sunday? A struggling Baltimore team trying to find its footing, or a dangerous opponent that’s about to get its quarterback back?

1. A 4-1 start has turned into a little bit of a mess.

Baltimore opened 4-1, with wins over Indianapolis, Dallas, Tennessee and Atlanta. But it lost to New Orleans, followed by Cleveland and Cincinnati in consecutive weeks.
